I have a bachelor's and master's degree in Bioengineering from the University of Porto, with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering. I am fascinated by the application of deep learning (DL) to study the non-coding regions of the genome, as well as by the explainable AI techniques that give us insight into the features learned by these models.
